How it works

Four steps, about two weeks

Your team's time commitment is about two hours in total. We do the rest.

  1. Short intro call

    Twenty minutes to understand what you run, what worries you and roughly what you spend. We confirm the fixed price before anything starts.

  2. You grant read-only access

    We send step-by-step instructions to create a read-only role. We never need write access for the review, so we can't change anything in your account.

  3. We analyze your account

    Over about two weeks we review your billing, usage, configuration and security settings, using AWS's own tools plus our own checks.

  4. Walkthrough and report

    We go through the findings with you on a call, then send the full report and leadership summary. You remove our access, and you're done.

Yes. We ask you to create a dedicated AWS role that can look at your configuration and billing but cannot change, delete or create anything. You create it, you can see exactly what it allows, and you can remove it with one click the moment the review is done. We walk you through the setup on the intro call; it takes about ten minutes.

About two weeks from the day access is in place to the walkthrough call. Your team spends roughly two hours in total: the intro call, setting up access, and the walkthrough.

Then you'll know your account is in good shape, and you'll still get the full security review. In practice, almost every account we look at has something worth fixing. If we can see on the intro call that a review won't be worth the money, we'll tell you before you spend anything.

Yes. Agencies can resell the Health Check under their own brand, with reports carrying the agency's logo. We don't contact your clients directly unless you ask us to. See our partner page for details.

We only collect what the review needs: configuration settings and billing data, never your customers' data or the contents of your databases and files. Working files are kept on encrypted storage and deleted within 30 days of the walkthrough unless you ask us to keep them for follow-on work. You should remove our access role as soon as we're done, and we'll remind you.

Yes, if you want us to. After the walkthrough we'll give you a fixed quote for implementation. Many teams make the simpler fixes themselves using the report and bring us in for the trickier ones. Either way works.
